Best Colognes for the spring and summer:

Thierry Mugler’s Angel has been in my go to scent since 2000. I went on the search for two new scents to bless into my collection and……John Varvatos Artisan and Gucci Pour Homme II are the newest members to my spray rotation. Artisan has a wicked bottle and I’ll never know when I’m low on it due to not being able to see the shit. The Gucci one has a Gucci type bottle, bold, clean lined appearance. These are my type of scents, go smell em!

So, I’ve pretty much used every skin care product known to man….If you know me then you know I have more “products” than you, your wife, and your side chick Combined. Yea, you might have nice stuff, but how nice is your “bathroom stuff?” I have slowly increased my level of products and opened up the flood gates to Kiehl’s. I walked in the store in Lenox in Atlanta yesterday and said “hook me up!” 180 bucks later I walked out with a small bag of stuff. My study is: higher end vs mid end…then mid end vs low end. I have used aveeno, aveda, sophora’s best products, and everything else that I can misspell. I have totally upgraded on my stuff. I wanna see if the “best” is really better. Stay tuned…I need to use this stuff for a good month or two to give accurate feedback. Nevertheless, I feel that the customer service is well worth getting knocked over the head at the register. Kielh’s is not the highest end stuff out there, but it’s a long way from aisle 4 in Walmart and Sephora.

So I’m on this quest to get ripped and drop all kinds of weight. People can’t believe that I weigh what I do, but I feel it on and off the court,LOL. I left high school weighing in at 145 and i was an inch shorter. Somewhere in later years I ended up in Chicago weighing in at 225…Fucking terrible! I currently have been frequent at a gym that only costs $25/ Month, but I’m seriously considering the YMCA in Pelham due to a shortage of lights on the basketball court. Anyhow, I have gained energy since I have been going and I have dropped down to 200. After going for a couple months I have gained energy, but only losing 4 pounds makes me realize my eating regiment horribly  sucks. I had a “Come to Jesus” meeting at the top of this week and got real about how I eat and when I eat. I no longer eat out which is boring as fuck, but to counter that emotion I have sold myself on the joy of cooking. I picked up a 20 dollar, Rival branded,what I like to call “hot plate with a glass lid” and things are looking up. I grilled up a weeks worth of chicken using three Weber seasonings: New Orleans Cajun, Smokey Mesquite, and Kick’n Chicken. I’m also using Pompeian extra virgin oil. I like spicy, but not to the point that flavor and my taste buds get lost. I’m digging the veggie steamer bags as a side dish. I’m snacking on this energy bag which consists of dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, soy beans, and almonds. I have a goal to get ripped around the respective weight of 170 (-30). I have been down to 185 before in recent years and the worldly reviews came back that I looked sick. Oh well, I’m pushing it to the limit. More bball, running, power lifting, circuit training, and my p90x AB ripper x remix routine should bring me there. Food will be the challenge…I need variety to hold my interest throughout this and that will be my focus….Variety!! Maybe hit up Costco for some cool fish and turkey to alternate with chicken.

In closing, today I’m oatmealed out , just bored with it. I know i can make it cool with berries,  but I only like it one way. So, I’m trying out this quacker branded granola (pictured below) over yogart for breakfast with NASCAR coverage in the background and…. the ole lady asking me repeatedly if we are leaving for the gym bc she is dressed to do so….we off!
